Scary, huh?
Yup, I really need to get Genghis Khan to start shooting them down from his horse.The problem is, they get used to it. You now dial back a bit, and they will revolt!
That looks more like Asian Future, lol. But I like the theme, it sounds interesting.Ooooh! Next Era revealed as "Virtual Future"; hitting your Beta cities soon!
All the new buildings have a very oriental theme to them. The new GB looks like the Terracota Army!!!That looks more like Asian Future, lol. But I like the theme, it sounds interesting.
Whoa... next era will certainly be stone age. When you are fully in virtual, any major crash will destroy the civilization.Next Era revealed as "Virtual Future";
Hum, it is, to my knowledge, just the statue of emperor is a hologram.The new GB looks like the Terracota Army!!!

LOL.That would be cool. "Congrats, a solar flare ruined everything and you advance to the stone age."
That looks so cool. I don't know what it does, but I want it.All the new buildings have a very oriental theme to them. The new GB looks like the Terracota Army!!!
A solar flare would at most disrupt connectivity. I was speaking about harder problems like power outage due to a power plant malfunction or say a power grid control failure, or related problems. Imagine a data center getting powered off due to such outage, and all of a sudden someone either gets kicked out of VR or plain eradicated, depending on entity type. OW.
What was his defence?Imma attack him.
Edit: he was a worthy contender in the battle field too.
I actually expect that consumer level electronics might get fried, but server hardware is all grounded and encased in multiple Faraday cells in form of ferroconcrete walls, datacenter inner walls (up to solid steel with a single door) and server racks that are also made of sgeel and are grounded. Such a big solar flare would certainly disconnect people, but with current degree of people's lock-up with Internet this still miht do more good than bad. With full VR it can break people's life a lot harder, depending on whether people get food from affected devices.An extremely massive solar flare could still fry most electronic infrastructure on Earth.
I had a good chuckle at the name, too. It probably is a good defense.With a fear inspiring name that infuses terror in his enemies' hearts.
