In particular, those who play a 'farm' heavy game, with little involvement in battles, do seem to often overlook the defensive army stuff

I dunno, there's something I sort of like about them... I think it's the half-masonry look. I fully admit to being a little on the odd side though :)

Dayum. Tried to skip a day of DCs, ended up re-invoking it to start on me, now I have less than 12h to do 5 tasks (for 30FP, worth the try). And I wanted to skip two days - now will not skip either.
