Shame that you're missing some but any is better than nothing.

I've only ever done half marathons and it's not the distance but the mental attitude to keep going, not sure if I would attempt a full one.

Which one are you doing?

Unlike a half marathon, a full marathon may be more than mental tenacity. There is a point just beyond the half where you are out of glycogen and "hits the wall". metabolism after that is inefficient and you feel miserable and wonder why you were so stupid to sign up for it.

I've ran 16 miles before, from 12 until the end I just wanted to die :(
