Well, the problem isn't as serious. Cobian Backup 11 stopped ddeleting older backups, me trying to remedy. Backups are working as is, thankfully.

Phew. I'm glad it worked out okay. It's bad enough when you have to revert to a backup. It's even worse when that backup fails.

There are 3 kinds of system admins: those that don't do backups, those that now do backups, and those that now check backups for validity. :D This kind of backups is still at state 2, but it's file-based, so should be fine.

Backuping system files when something bad happens with computer.


When problem is in software, best thing is System Restore ;)
