Event Summer Event 2017

I like to complain that I can't afford the 11,000 Diamond package (Everyone should have something to complain about ... else, FoE have failed in their quest to go beyond perfection).

This is my 4th Summer Event, so when I say they are now being stingy it is a fact. It used to be that prizes like Shrines of Knowledge would give the same chances as a common prize like coins or medals, now you get 1 Shrine to win on the wheel. I had chances to win 4 SoKs and 4 Rogue Hideouts from the same wheel in past Summer Events.

They ruined this Event with the tiered prizes.......feel sorry for new players starting out as it's all geared towards Diamonds now!

Diamonds are a terrible thing ... they ruin everything ... total ruination.

I agree with everything said about this event, seems Inno are making it more and more obvious that they are about pushing people to either buy diamonds or make way for those who will .. what happened to making sure this is a fun game to play to make people stick around and having them buy diamonds where they can, I am seriously rethinking my future with FoE ..
Also why does every event now revolve around sets that require more and more room in your city instead of being about a chance of getting good buildings that benefit the city. To get a set you are saying buy diamonds and give us your money, that's all you want from us, when are you going to give us a good enough reason to do so instead of crapping on us every time we do ..

This is the second event I am seeing with the choice given for scouting a province (and also for infiltrating and acquiring sectors) but with no choice given for the last quest asking us to Gain control over a province ... Would like to know what is the point in having options for all other quests involving provinces but then asking us to take over a complete province in the end as we will be anyway forced to scout and acquire sectors to take over a full province just to finish this one last quest ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

While I can kind of see your point in this, everyone is going to have a province available for taking, it's taking that, THEN scouting where we run into problems. If you didn't have a province available for taking then you would be able to start a scouting mission, if you started the scout, and finished before that quest came up, then you'd have a province for taking.

This feature keeps popping up in my events box adding that everyone won a prize. I can find no real answers in searches, can anyone shed light on its function?

Every time your 'hood reaches the goal on the summer casino wheel, everyone in your 'hood gets medals....100 for mine, I'd like to think the number goes up or down depending on age.

DeletedUser110195

Considering every time it's been 100 for me, just click or tap the casino wheel, then mouse over or tap the neighborhood goal, that should show what it gives you.

At least they are giving town hall tickets, that only started on beta once you had completed both questlines. The most useless prizes were portraits, would have prefered a few coins. I have 4 palaces in beta but only room for 1 set. Hope to do better this time around. Best strategy was to accumulate a few tickets, monitor the wheel for others to refresh and go for the gold or silver rings only if its a prize you want. Otherwise you just waist tickets refreshing and getting dud prizes.
I cannot believe the number of useless/old blueprints they are pawning off as prizes. I've managed to win 3 in a row (all, of course) of buildings I have already. The best prize in multiple spins (and a refresh where totally useless prizes remained) was a Palm Tree and two tickets. I had hoped for some better prizes for the Summer Event as the previous Events lacked any pizzazz in their prizes. This is my first Summer Event, and was told it was going to be great. Little disappointed, especially by the size of grand prize. It's hard enough to get grids, much less to squander them on a prize this hard to obtain.

Innovation Tower will go a long way in freeing up space by eradicating common housing.

We'd ALL like to have an Innovation Tower, but getting the goods to put it up is another story all together!!

And this is where buying goods with FPs comes in. If the GB is so far ahead in age that you can't reasonably trade for the goods, then you find someone who can supply them and make a deal to buy them with FPs.

Sure ... it's all starts with a plan.

Hopefully, you have chosen a guild with a few big players ... choosing the right friends (esp if you invite a few AF players at the get go) will go a long way in getting you a future-age GB's.

I guess it all depends on the beginning ... a bad start can send you off onto the dead-end lane
(what did ... or do you want from the game).

Only people who seem to be excited about this event is the Mods. Are they playing a different game to everyone else as this years event is a 15th century version of last years events, Less tickets and chances to get prizes. Thank for killing another great event keep up the out standing work. Given Inno's recent history of giving an advantage to a group of players and the CIA attitude towards giving information, is this Inno's Watergate??????
