New Content Quantum Incursions Feedback Thread

I really having trouble getting used to the 10 hour production times, its so far removed from any other timings in the game especially as its constantly building & selling for the 1st few days til we get a good town setup, between that & the slow manual battles i think I'll forget to check in & do much after a few seasons

Might be better to remove Quantum Actions from the feature. People will still be limited by the number of coins, supplies, goods, and units they produce. And if they happen to produce more by smartly managing their cities, they should be able to contribute more. Adding a layer of limitation through quantum actions highly limits player contribution. Also, recording the number of quantum actions spent is of no use anywhere as it does not influence the rankings.

1. The timer on the app is glitched. It keeps restarting from 3 days 16 hours.

2. For Level 2 (at least), opening QI on the app should focus on the currently targeted node, not at the bottom of the QI map. The player has to scroll up to the map every time.

Let's take this idea a little further but before I do I wish to state a made an observation:

On this thread I see many comments, mostly negative with one or two positives. After each comment there may be one or two replies and then that's it, nothing more. What I do not see is discussion where an idea is taken through to closure or completion. Worse still I don't see any Inno team here helping in 'those' discussions? If Inno team are I apologise, I just can't see you! Back to Live-Play:

In discussing this idea with other players, also seeking a solution to the lack of real-time play (all the elements GvG had), this idea could be expanded on as follows:

In addition to the PvP CR scenario which would then be played out on a mini GvG style map say 5 sectors(?) it could be expanded to a guild versus guild challenge where the two guilds battle out live on a system generated map of say 8 sectors? The key here is that the map is only in existence during the time of the dual. Once the dual is finished, the results are recorded (for leader board etc.) and the map is deleted.

The temporary system generated mini map solution for two guilds or two players to conduct their challenge is just that, temporary - There is no need for massive database storage and overhead with a constantly changing map containing 1000's of sectors as in the old GvG. This I imagine is a huge part of the reason why 'Maintenance and Inaccessibility' were given as one of the reasons to discontinue GvG.

This real-time solution without the need for the massive storage of map and changing data is a solution that would bring back those desperately needed elements of gameplay that are now missing.

Please discuss with solid reasons as to why or why not.
Thank you.
I agree with your comments. What has been removed is the real-time element of fighting against an enemy , alongside your team, who had the ability to fight back. For those who never got a chance to play as it only remained on PC, you missed a great part of this game and the part which build strong guilds as players had to fight together. and yes I know there were scripts which spoilt things, but it also made guilds stronger as they learnt to fight against them. if inno find a way to re-introduce that I would be all for it, These static fights to get to a target faster than the other team and pick up rewards on the way are a little ho hum.

so we know that
forgotten temples are active for 28 days & give 50% attack & 50% defender boost
tourney grounds are active for 14 days & give 25% attack & 25% defender boost
but does these boosts stack? if you have 1 of each do you get 75% attack & defence? also would 2 forgotten temples give 100% attack & defence?

most players in guild starting this new game mode with the stupid 0 % bonus when we talk about fighting here.
If the setlement upgraded buildings could come faster maybe the situation could be a little less stupid, but fighting manual battles is a huge waste for us players playing this game for years.
I think that was the whole point - you can't just accumulate a ridiculously high attack bonus and auto-click your way through, but have to go back to the Iron Age days of actual strategy and matching troop types.
I also seem to remember that Innogames said when QI was first mentioned that they were actively trying to get away from the idea that players could have one city that would do everything and were hoping to get players to specialise rather than doing all the quests, all the events, all the settlements etc...

I have read somewhere that they stack, but that was before the boosts for QI were added.

Lol yeah. That could be nothing but moving between nodes

I get that's basically what they said, but it's a grossly unrealistic expectation. We're here to play the game, all those things are the game

Also it's just not a good way to keep a game feeling active to split the playerbase up into different features. If players are split into Guild Expedition only, Guild Battlegrounds only and Quantum Incursions only (and that succeeds in doing that).... then you're effectively making the game feel like it only has a third of its playerbase present. What happens if people think the game shrunk to a third of its size because they can't see that activity across the board once it's split into specialized activities?

QI should be fun but how can you play when you cannot play due to production delays?
Updated my query on this thread if anyone can please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Slow, boring and a bit buggy.
Every time I see the timer is says 3d 16hrs remaining.
I have built happiness buildings that should provide 900 happiness, but it's only registering 600.
I deleted a goods building and lost 75 happiness, for me this was the last straw that broke the camel's back - Inno, how dare you release such a bug ridden piece of nonsense

Hi, it is with a big heart I find my self compelled to say something here, for the people who know me I never talk on main chat or on the forums, I have been playing this little game since 2010. you have now taken away the best part of this game from me thanks inno, GVG was the only reason I loved this little game it bought many players all over the world together at calc time. yes we all new it wasent perfect but we all new also it was just a game and loads of fun at calc time. If I would have know that this change was coming I would have NEVER bought diamonds to boost my troops up and GB'S to give me a better chance in the GVG battles, what am I going to do now with all my battle GB'S and rogue dens, drummers, they are all obsolete now?
As many other players have said the new system is all geared for diamond players and large guilds. The saying someone told me many years ago is still true today " If it ain't broken don't fix it".
All the best
Andy

GvG was a scriptors paradise, try scripting in QI , good riddance to GVG.
This new QI takes a bit of getting used to without many instructions.
I think it is going down well, excellent effort INNO.
A few small bugs to iron out yet.

Do you have to be online to open reward chests when you finish an incursion? We finished level 1 and level 2 was opened while I was asleep, when I went to open my chest rewards, it said I had to finish the current incursion.

"At the end of Championship every guild receives a pool of rewards depending on the final placement in the rankings."
Is this pool of rewards split between all guild members, or does each guild member get a set of rewards? 1st place gets a bunch of stuff including 5000 fp's. Is that 5000 fp's per guild member or split between all guild members? I'm in a guild that's currently in 19th place and the reward includes 1000 fp's, which is still great if it's per person.
