"At the end of Championship every guild receives a pool of rewards depending on the final placement in the rankings."
Is this pool of rewards split between all guild members, or does each guild member get a set of rewards? 1st place gets a bunch of stuff including 5000 fp's. Is that 5000 fp's per guild member or split between all guild members? I'm in a guild that's currently in 19th place and the reward includes 1000 fp's, which is still great if it's per person.
Would be funny for the top guild to get 62.5 FPs per person and split 7 selection kits between 80 members. :D

I also seem to remember that Innogames said when QI was first mentioned that they were actively trying to get away from the idea that players could have one city that would do everything and were hoping to get players to specialise rather than doing all the quests, all the events, all the settlements etc...

I get that's basically what they said, but it's a grossly unrealistic expectation. We're here to play the game, all those things are the game

Hang on I have to call BS on this. Because the 2 buildings so far that give boost to help you in QI are ONLY obtained from playing GE level 5 every week (Forgotten temple) and playing enough Battlegrounds to get 500 fragments of the Tourney Grounds.

So what part of specializing in different aspects of the game is that?? What I see is a house of cards where, if you DO NOT focus on Ge level 5 and defense boosts, then you lost out on 50% boost help with QI - and if you DO NOT focus on maximum fights in GBG every day to earn those Tourney Grounds fragments, you're totally screwed when it comes to QI and have no boost except what you can scrounge out of a limited settlement, which is not a lot.

They're actually tightening the noose, making advantages in the different guild competitions dependent on how well you do in the other ones, so that you can't skip any of it, and if you want to do well in one of them, you need the special buildings from all the others!

Better yet, if you spend your starting quantum shards for QI to open space in the settlement and then fail to win enough shards to do the same on the next round - then what? perpetuating downward spiral, that's what. Diamonds and $$$ to the rescue I am sure is the plan, but I promise you people will walk or ignore QI if that's the case.

QI has only just started and it is so boring. Building an Iron Age city week after week is not exciting and no replacement in any way for GvG. I have given it a go but won't again. I have enough to do with events, GE and GbG. I am perplexed as to what the developers were thinking when they added this. They couldn't offer me enough to play this part of the game.

Have you also figured out, What they are good for?
They will be used to buy expansions in your settlement, they are just not in use in this 1st incursion, it was clearly indicated on the announcement but like everyone else I tended to skip through it without reading it properly, just too much to do now, it's become like a full time Job, something I gave up 18 years ago

Although it would be funny if they did end up being used for that, they're for city expansions.

They are for the city, not the settlement. That's what it says in the announcement and the in-game tooltip:
Use them to buy Quantum Expansions for your city.

Disappointing that no thought has gone into this for adapting things to suit guild size. As a lone player guild myself this is completely impossible to play.
It was announced as a many players guild effort so adaption to suit the size of a guild was off table. As a loner you simply ignore this new feature. It's not like there isn't enough in game features to keep us busy. On the bright side you don't have to worry about QI stats on future buildings and just ignore them, including events with a QI stats focus.

Well, despite my severe reservations and pressure to lead from the front so to speak and the fact that a lot of my Guild are taking part I am giving it a fair go, it took a while to get my head around certain aspects and the overall gameplay, what idiot decided that productions are in 10hr slots, we live in a 24hr day world not a decimalised one, what next 100 mins in a hour ?. I hear that Polynesia settlements will be the same...its getting worse, if it was April the First I could laugh about it but the joke is going too far now, QI is as a new feature, frankly very boring, takes too much time and despite appointing a QI officer who does not control the gameplay, so why have one ? Everyone is doing their own thing, asking players to build certain goods buildings isn't working as players will always choose the smallest option or the best for them personally, so that's out of the window, same with units, these are Iron age units we are talking about, so everyone is going for ranged units as they will overall be better. There are a few bugs still, like the timers are incorrect, I already am refusing to play in my other two worlds, it really needs a complete overall, there really is no competition, no challenge, no control, in short It's a unmitigated mess, the devs really went out of their way to produce one of the worst things in the game, the idea has merit, its the actuality that lets it down, it could have been really good, in reality it's not even mediocre. I will finish the season and if some tweaks appear to improve it then maybe do the second but don't think it will be part of my gameplay much longer and am searching for another game so I can end this farce of a game, trouble is there aren't many as good as this game once was...Will it ever be again, only if Inno really start listening and stop messing with it. Rant over

Inno, we work and have real lives, I have no Idea how many hours one has to spend online to complete everything now, GVG was 30 min max of intense playing. You are becoming greedy and destroying your own game....
Totally agree and I have already deleted my other worlds and I am undecided about this one yet having dropped out of my Guild

i am now convinced, this game is out to destroy itself, it really doesnt give a crap about the players it must want to finish this game off as all its done is got players backs up and most players are doing a lot less now, spending less time on the game as there is just to much to do
Agree I have dropped my other worlds and taking time out from this one. I might leave altogether as its no fun anymore

QI certainly does not "replace" GvG.

I was dubious about gvg when it launched, suspected it would be taking way more of my time and credit card than I was ready to put into this game -and boy was I right. GvG was about fighting real time, doing split second decisions, distracting and outsmarting the enemy, learning who the enemy was and what was the weak point to strike - and a lot of it was about getting into the head of them ennemies to anticipate what they intended. It took a while, then i realized i was back in the basketball games of my youth, only didnt need to run myself off my feet this time. There were bots... but who says they didnt play dirty basketball too if them referees weren't noticing? Outwitting bots was in a way perhaps the most rewarding thing in all of it as Inno was a bit... sluggish? to do anything about it.

Obviously, the clicking competitions at GbG are just... well, clicking competitions. Its about numbers and rewards, a hamster wheel in an overgrown browser game. The magic is gone, and QI settlement expedition whatever is another step still further away from the magic that hooked me to this game. I feel like a footie player who has just been told, football is abolished - you're all cricket players from now on.

All the best for all cricket lovers - for me its time to see what else life has to offer. I see no effort to recreate the contact sport gvg was; my love-hate relationship with Inno is over.

Bye,
e

Officers seem to have unnecessary powers, like opening the next level. Why not let it open automatically, if goods or other resources are not paid for opening it?

Because there could be unfinished nodes on the current level.
Then it could be like GE, and not automatically open the next level until all nodes are done (=all relics collected). But a QI officer can manually open it when the level boss is beaten even if some nodes aren't done.
