look at the entire tech tree to see what goods are needed in total.
work on producing coins for them as a priority, especially with markets. once your coin stockpile is on track, you can free up space to build more ptoduction buildings or build diplomacy ahead.

I still think settlement takes up too much time although I am completing in 8 days this time.

I'm still on my 1st settlement, at 15. Unless you want the Runestones, no rush.

At least with the forced absence all your collections will be ready at the same time

Hmm, taking another look at that runestone thing, it only gives a 2% attack bonus. I wouldn't build it for that... You're right. Don't deal with the time limit...

You get 1.5% crit chance every competion up to 25% after the 15th.

It gives 2% attack, 2 fps and 1 good at level 5, making it very good for a 2x2.
