The advantages of working underground I guess : less people in your feet, cooler in summer, less cold in winter, no sun in the eyes, no sunburns, story to tell, training to find your keys in the dark in the morning when there's no electricity more easily, less risk of being killed by a plane landing on you, less problem to adapt if on night shift... Now you can tell the downsides.
