Haven't gotten to that myself, but reading up on it you do something like produce goods from previous era's, then combine them to make the current era goods

Unrefined goods: basically, after a few eras you need to produce "refined" goods - this is done in exactly the same way as before, but as well as the coins and supplies you normally pay, you also pay in "unrefined" goods - ie those of a lower era. For example i'm in AF at the moment, and for 20 nanowires to be produced I pay 20 bio data (from CE) as well as coins and supplies.
