Wyvern Smithy & Jumpin’ Pumpkin

Malynn

Why isn’t the Wyvern Smithy “classed” as a production building for quests, e.g productions in the Wyvern Smithy DO NOT count towards completing 24 hour productions in the Rival quests or any other quests. But productions in the Jumpin’ Pumpkin do count towards production quests.
It’s just totally illogical and makes no sense at all that Jumpin’ Pumpkin productions count towards quests but Wyvern Smithy productions don’t!

According to Inno on Discord it was hotfixed on all servers 4 days ago. If it's still not counting, put in a ticket for a bug report

On the Beta section there is. Same as what the Beta forums have been doing for years.

That then gets combined into a single update for Live

Sarcasm is obviously wasted on you :P

Having to check Beta, Discord and other possible solutions is bad communication.

We have an ingame message system that could be used for announcements like this. Right now it is mainly used for the announcements of instagram or facebook competitions. You call that good communication?

The smithy is a useful building but would recommend using the Jumpin Pumkin if you have any instead as has a smaller footprint, space being always at a premium

Population usage, happiness and buildings with higher boosts using space are also premiums.

I'm also using pumpkins though.

Yes on a one to one basis it's not bad, but put 4 smithys in a square of 6x6, roads north and south then in the same space put 6 Pumkins and 3 ciders in the middle row as they do not need roads, the difference is obvious

I looked long and hard at this so in the end have ignored the smithys, and have 2 rows of pumkins with ciders in between ....26 pumkins and 13 ciders as a permenant feature ( blacksmiths are long forgotten )

That's a nice idea, but only works if you have the population pre-existing. If you've already been eliminating the population giving buildings in favor of other stuff then the Wyverntide Smithy would take less space because you don't need secondary buildings for population.

If everyone put Agent327 like myself on ignore then no-one would have to endure his purile and caustic comments.
