Prinza the Hunter
Monarch
Sorry for the difficult heading. This proposal is easier to grasp than to explain. I have searched for anything like this but not found it.
Proposal:
Put a way to interact with a player/player's town on the town screen when visiting it, in addition to the current motivate, polish and plunder options.
The additional interactions include messaging them, pulling up a list of their great buildings, befriendinng/unfriending them, and attacking them. The available options would be only those applicable and available by other means, such as the list of guild members or the ranking list.
Reason:
Quite often, before doing some of the interactions available from elsewhere (such as the list of friends and neighbours, or from a friend's tavern), a player will want to visit the city. Once at the city, they often can't do what they want without going back through their town and trying to find where they found that player (were they on the neighbour list? or found via a friend's tavern - which friend? ...).
The unnecessary navigation wastes the player's time and wastes multiple calls to the game server. The server can save some load and the player will waste less time (and patience) navigating around just to find how to interact with someone whose city they can see right on screen.
Details:
The implemention could be by extending the buttons where the motivate, plunder and polish buttons appear. It could also be done from a click/press on the town hall, or a click/press on the player's name. There could instead be a three-bar menu button common to many apps, and becoming common on PC programs, to bring up the interactions.
Balance/Abuse Prevention:
There is no issue of balance nor abiliity for abuse that doesn't already exist. This proposal does not suggest adding any new ways to interact, just an easier way to do the interactions currently permissible, but when already looking at a player's town.
