For those starting the day soon, this is a “1 word at a time story! See if we can randomly write the next best-seller, 1 word per person”

Once upon a time there were players, some who didn’t read the rules of the universe. Those unspoken naughty gremlins, grimy, feathered and ugly, decided that they should go destroy the goblins because they had a secret stash of unknown materials post[ed] underneath a minuscule Sesame Street. So they dug a trench filled with lava. Then (explosively) war came and machineguns were forged in a sandpit. Glass gremlins melted, transforming blood diamonds into magnificent notebooks covered with rainbow-paper.

Goblins...

(gotta go for a few hours. Have fun!)

(Sorry guys for not being active in this game. I'm usually active in most stuff here, but being a writer, adding one word to a story just hurts every fiber in my body. I even hate "word-sprints" where you write for a given time. I either write or I don't. I can't write for exactly five minutes or exactly one word. )
