I haven't done anything but sell the event building and upgrades on every event building this year so far. Only the attack bonus is tempting on this one and might make me want to build it. Still undecided.

It's not really a good comparison between an event building and a GB. One can be constantly improved and one is stuck with the same stats once completed.

All GBs have a point where they are not worth levelling anymore, the costs vastly outweigh the benefits so event buildings are the only way to go

level 10 traz 8 units and you can control what you get
it gives more happiness
but it needs most of that for its own population

They are buildings that give units so the Governors Villa is not the first building that gives units. Also, the GV needs to be rebalanced, it's pretty garbage currently.

GV is an Event Building, TD and RB are not. Try throwing in some others for comparison...valid comparison that is.
