Making more items tradeable

DeletedUser110531

You'd be surprised some people do struggle, for example some people will not know how to set defences. Not everyone that starts the game will immediately get a hold of how it works let alone get GB's. Most people that have high age GB's at a low age have at least played the game once before.

Setting defences is totally different. There is no real tutorial or explanation on that.

Every idiot can push the autobattle and win and it's the people that have played before that stay in IA. They have the skill, so you contradict yourself.

Being able to trading various Items sounds like a great idea at first glance, since many have quite full inventorires.

But consider that it opens for various imballance issues.

Examples

Wishing Wells: High ranking/Long term players can help players that they know specifically. Wishing wells can be used to build Diamond mining cities giving a player advantages, since the Diamonds can be used accross the different cities. As such there is nothing wrong with that – but if tradable the players who do not know the high ranking/ Long terms players, will be at dissadavatage having to play to gain/win e.g Wishing Wells. Diamond have a huge effect on your expansion options and space is as most players know, one of the main challenges of the game. So trading Wishing Wells will create imballance.

The option to Trade other type of buildings would also create such imballances. Can you trade to get building from a higher age ?.
Certainly that would create problems for the whole idea of the game progress and tech development. Trading buildings from lower ages would be quite a unnecessary option, evnen a few eras above and any balanced player could turn his or her city into a lower age in no time, due to the lower costs in lower ages. And if one can only trade buildings from the same age, then consider that all these items stored in the many inventories would overflow the market with stuff that essentially nobody of the same Era would really need. Nearly Useless.

For Bost (Potions) it might be slight a different scenario, since they are mostly short term and one time effects. But still, if you are lucky to be in a very high ranking guild, being able to constantly Boost your productions from such trades would give you advantage over players not so fortunate.

As the game is wroking right now

but its not on the same level as flooding an IA player with OF troops and letting them cause mayhem. (even if it does sound entertaining).
who said an IA players can get OF things ?

you want to give something from OF to a player in IA
a) that would not be possible
b) higher era building are transformed into the era of the player who gets it (so give him an OF building is still not possible but at least he gets a building from you that you don't need)

if you give an OF barrack (fast) he will get the iron age version of it (also the fast one)

That is what I was suggesting :/

The problem with the whole concept of this would be that it is just impractical. Something like this has 2 ways of working 1. it would have a separate market for this kind of items, or 2. Just giving a gift feature and let players sort it out between them.

As nice as the idea sounds there are just too many ways that it can be abused. Think about it. A high aged guild member could give away a ton of his stuff and effectively put an IA player so far advanced that no one else stands a chance.

I think coming up with something like this was great just you need to think of some of the details. :)

Sorry to say this but your years behind the game just look around and see how many IA players have Level 80 plus ARC/AO/Traz etc etc, think most have a few accounts to help them but they are already here in IA with OF GB's etc IA players with 500% attack and 500% defence is a little unfair on other IA players? Maybe so but its the way the game plays.
