Many of us always to our bit to donate to our guild treasury but as the transactions are only one way even though you donate you get nothing back. I think it would be a good idea if we could implement some kind of idea whereby you could spend foege points or coins on order to buy items from the treasury in order to help with things like research and quest negotiations so at least then everyone could get back some of what theu have given in a time of need

If this happened it'd need to be proportionate only to what you've put into the treasury outside of GBs.

Guilds that use treasury GBs (or even just the Chat Front) can have 100s of thousands of goods in each age.

Anyone can guild hop and end up in a guild with more goods then they could possibly spend. Or end up in a guild that can't support withdrawals

It's not fair to the guild to allow its stocks to be withdrawn. If the guild does GvG it needs thousands to maintain hexes. If it does GE it needs stock to ensure if new members come you can continue to open Lvls.

If your idea was implemented then what's preventing someone from coming into your guild (or someone having an argument and wanting to get back at the guild) and just bleeding the treasury dry? Keeping in mind a small guild might not be able to afford any withdrawals at all and a guild active in GvG needs a proportionally larger amount to maintain hexes

The idea could be implememted in some way whereby the person withdrawing has to have been a member of the guild for a certain length of time, is limited to so many uses within a fixed time period and must only use the withdrawn goods for specific reasons IE advancement via reaesrch or to build GBs for example

Can't be done properly and also allows for great abuse - people could withdrawal goods they could never get otherwise, many ages above where they are, and so on.

Not to mention it would kill inno's → Get goods for diamonds to build those all important and coveted GB's.

Ok. That doesn't address the needs of the guild though. Only the needs of the individual. Some techs need 500 of a single good. That's 5 hexes unmanned. That's a hex filled with troops one and half times. Thats 20 members worth of GE goods required to unlock lvl 4

Since when are you supposed to get something back when you donate? You must be the favorite person of every charity. Hey, I gave something to your charity, so what do I get back? Totally ridiculous idea!

Simple soliution. Do not donate if you need the goods yourself.

Is there any need for that kind of attitude

That's not entirely true
We get the benefits that come along with the guild level that our guilds earn by using the treasury goods
Also our personal ranking points increase with the goods we donate either to the treasury or for negotiating
