City Shield suggestion

Is there any thought to provide a City Shield as a Tavern Boosts for a 12 hour period?
This will allow me to protect my city overnight from attackers who are playing in a different time zone and still use Tavern boosts during my game time.
At present I can only use a 24 hour boost minimum which means spending diamonds for another boosts during that day i.e GE extra turn etc

I think that's the point: making the shield more flexible would make the game easier (like being able to get a 30% attack boost that lasted only fifteen minutes).
