Winter Quests Final Day

I only had the 10 stars gained by shuffling the Presents , hit the Shuffle button with that 1 Go , then with my next go , I hit the X2 Button but no stars left to be able to pick another Present , I am guessing that basicly its just a case of My Tough Luck ???? , And !! unless you had the forsight to save a bunch of Stars , the final Quest is Bogus , " get a Confectionary and then Sell a Confectionary , Really ?? with 0 Stars ?? little difficult , but then I guess I did win 3 CE Military Buildings that I hadn`t even Researched yet LOL , also a few Fish Markets , a Floating Market AND the Casino , so I guess I shouldn`t gRumble :OP , anyway my final Question is : will I receive anything for hitting the X2 square on my final try ??

And the shuffle will give you 20 stars tomorrow because of the 2x ;)

so what your saying is : when I get to midnight tonight and the presents reset , i`ll get to reshuffle them and get 20 stars for doing it ?? , thats very useful , thanks for the reply BuyOrDie :O)

Just got the times 2 with my last go tonight, 2 mins ago, so looking forward to getting my 20 stars tomorrow :) LOL

I had not enough stars to finish quest..ie get a confectionary, build it sell it..in one of my worlds...today got 10 stars for shuffling tiles and won a confectionary..(luck) but now i got large confectionary in all 3 worlds i play.
And the other 2 ..got nothing much useful today....but thats how it goes.

I made a mistake on the last day. I went in and won a confectionery!!! I then sold it and realized I hadn't accepted the quest before I won it. I therefore met the second requirement (sell a confectionery) but not the first (win a confectionery). I apparently will get one more group of 10 stars tonight, but I think my confectionery is gone.
Oh well. I got a bunch of goodies I would not have had if they hadn't had this winter event. So complaining would be kind of ungrateful. More like kicking oneself in the rear publicly.

I got one better , tonight the only stars I had were the 10 from Shuffling , then I again won the X2 , so i am now guessing thats just my bad luck

The very first one I picked today was also a x2.... I had a few stars saved up though. It seems pretty common as first the prize selected for the last day (another guild member of mine had the same thing).

I've had the x2 on a couple of worlds today and don't recall getting x2 first hit prior to this day on any of them but maybe the law of averages have come into play or there has been an increased chance for x2 to tempt some into buying a few extra stars.

Anyway, my luck has varied world to world but glad to have had the opportunity to win things during this event which has been stress free for me unlike the Easter event of last year.
