Do Not Suggest: Units cost goods

Currently, military units are way, way too cheap once you have the building. They should actually have a significant cost, like goods.
Every unit costs a certain amount of a particular good to train in a building. The actual amount is the same within an age, but the particular good is different for every building.

Balance: We could remove the coins and supplies portion of the cost, so the goods are the only cost.
Abuse prevention: No issues, tell if there are any.

In order for an idea to be forwarded, it needs to be posted in a required format.
If it is not in the right format, nothing will be done with it.
Even when it is formatted, it can not be on the Do Not Suggest List.
Also it should not have been proposed before.

Not sure why anybody would want an increased cost to troops but I would imagine you're in the minority and there's a certain explanation or motive behind the request.

The effect of this change would be zero on anyone playing for any length of time and potentially only have a negative impact on new players to the game that didn't know to build a traz, Once they learned about traz and spent a few 100 fps and gained the bps they would have no costs again and not need to build any troops.

I can't remember the last time I built a troop, Just moved from an era where I never built any troops (never even connected the barracks to the city) and left the era with this in stock. Don't even have a rogues hideout. What would your idea change or impact?

So - first off you are suggesting a change to increase the cost of units (such as using goods) - and now suggesting this change should only target new players - those who have the least amount of coins/supplies/goods/troops and everything else. Can you not understand what a poor idea this is - and to follow it up by trying to amend it as an even worse idea - worse, as it would affect those who have the least to afford.
The system is fine, the system works, and creating a new system to target the most vulnerable players is such a terrible idea to even create.
