Tournaments

I often see some players in several tournaments at a time, however I struggle to get in one during the duration of a tournament, I have conquered the province that gives me access to the relevant tower, is it that you need to be attacked to get entry to a tournament because attacking players doesn't seem to work?

Your PvP points will only count towards the Tournament Tower of the highest aged unit in your attacking army. So if you attack your neighbours with 7 EMA units and a HMA unit, your points would be recorded in the HMA Tower. You need to have unlocked the corresponding tower of your highest age attack unit or your battle points will not count.
Do you have access to the correct tower for the attacking units in your army?

Yes I have access to the Industrial age tower, I have just attacked someone yet I don't appear on the leaderboard and this has happened several times before

Could have been that you attacked outside tournament times before? Although if you just attacked now, then that's probably not the issue.
Can you screenshot your currently selected attack army so we can rule that out completely?

Yeah, all seems spot on there, sometimes a higher age unit goes unnoticed in your army. Are you sure you have conquered the Industrial Age tower and not just scouted the province?
If you have conquered the correct province for your units and are attacking within the tournament hours, then perhaps the support team can better advise you in a ticket. Seems to me that you are doing everything right currently.

For some reason everything seems to be working okay this time, i'm not quite sure what i was doing wrong but thank you for your replies and help
