Same internet connection 'error'

My brother wanted to show me something, and logged into his FoE account on my PC in stead of his own.
After he did that, we cannot send each other (using our own PC's) forgepoints because FoE thinks we're using the same internet connection.
Which is a confusing error message because when a friend of mine is at my home, using my WiFi, there is no poblem with this at all. Anyways, how do I correct that so that my brother and I can exchage Forge points again?
