Roads, happinness vs efficiency

Hey all

I seem to remember at some point here on the forum i have seen something that suggested that if all roads are connected to each other, as well as the town hall it increases the productivity of your town ??

I have checked all the guides across the forum but cant find anything relating to this.

If one of you more experienced players/mods/devs could clear this up for me or point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
