Proposal:
Using an item from inventory should return you to, or keep you in, the inventory
Have you Checked the Ideas section for the same idea posted by someone else? Is this idea similar to one that has been previously suggested?
Yes
Reason:
Reduce clicks to improve the user experience
Details:
When placing a building from inventory: there are many scenarios where you might want to place multiple buildings from inventory, so it makes sense that after placing one building it would return you to the inventory so you may place another. When you're done building you close the inventory. The current implementation is that you place the building from inventory and it opens the building menu, so you have to close that menu and re-open the inventory. There is no sense behind the current implementation as there are few scenarios where you would want to place a building from inventory and then build.
When using a boost or other item from inventory: there are many scenarios where you might want to use multiple items from inventory (eg boosts), so it makes sense that after using one item it would keep you in the inventory. When you're done using items you close the inventory. The current implementation is that it closes the inventory after each use, so you have to open the inventory again.
