Not a Bug: Not receiving diamonds for scouting quests

  • Browser and Version: Internet explorer 9
  • Overview of the bug: While preparing to move north of Tyr or north of Hymir (I forget which), I was offered 50 diamonds to scout. I scouted/performed the action, but didn't receive the diamonds. I continued to play, and when preparing to move north of Badakus I was again offered 50 diamonds for scouting the new territory, again, I didn't receive the reward.
  • Screenshots: Sorry, don't know how to add.
  • How often this occurs: Occurred twice already.
  • Urgency: Not urgent.
  • Preventative Actions No idea.
  • Summary: Not receiving diamonds for territory explored.
  • I have performed a quicksearch of the forums using a select few keywords relating to my bug to see if it has already been reported: Yes.
  • Have you tried fixing it by using these methods?:

Hey jonnyire,

the 50 diamonds displayed are a COST, not a reward.
If you PAY 50 diamonds, you'll instantly scout the next province without having to wait for the scout timer.
This may seem silly and expensive at earlier provinces, but later provinces take significantly longer to scout (no really, it's not funny anymore how long lol).

Welcome to the forums, thanks for posting. And thanks for using the template.

as Lodroth says, the 50 diamonds are an alternative way to pay, not a reward.

If you feel the diamond cost is unclear, perhaps have a look in the ideas section and submit a proposal. (Using the template.)
