Map and research down in Brisgard??

I've been in/out for the last few days, but I've not been able to get onto either of the map or research buttons (bottom left corner of the screen). They both freeze up - same point every time. I've left it for hours but no progress.
Is it just me? Any suggestions?

I already answered this in a support ticket. You can read my answer by right-clicking anywhere in-game, selecting 'Support' from the menu then opening your ticket.
