Not a Bug: [IOS] Snow falling, then disappearing

DeletedUser

  • World: Noarsil
  • Browser and Version: IOS app, iPad Air
  • Overview of the bug: Basically if you alternate between the ios and browser versions of the game, the winter snow won't work. You fill in a quest, it snows, and as soon as you go to the browser version, it disappears ON the iOS version and you have to complete another quest to get it working again. I'm fully aware that the snow won't work on browser version, but it seems opening it resets the snow having fallen on the iOS version.
  • Screenshots: n/a
  • How often this occurs: Every time you alternate between IOS app and browser.
  • Urgency: n/a
  • Preventative Actions: n/a
  • Summary: n/a
  • I have performed a quicksearch of the forums using a select few keywords relating to my bug to see if it has already been reported: Nothing that I can see
  • Have you tried fixing it by using methods listed in the thread pinned to the top of this forum:
n/a

checking/unchecking the weather effect option does not seem to change anything.

Unfortunately when you open the same city on another location (whether it is a different device, browser, etc.) this registers as starting a new session and the old one is forced to expire.

It's not possible for the snow to remain on the app if you're opening the same city elsewhere.
