Many players are finding that their inventories are filling up with all sorts of building upgrades and other items that we simply can't use, don't need or wish we could sell to earn the Tradecoins and Gemstones we need to purchase the items we do need or want. As an idea, having our own internal "Player to Player Trading Hub", allowing players to BUY, SWAP or SELL, these currently "unsellable items", means that a whole new market of trade could open up, so we are not stuck with items filling up our inventories, that we wish we could off load.
With such an idea though, preventing players from "Price Gouging" other players, could easily be solved by having the game developers set a standardised and fixed price in Tradecoins and Gemstones, for these building upgrades and other similar items to ensure a level of fairness and honesty is maintained, thus allowing all players the ability to trade amongst themselves for the upgrades and other items they wish to purchase.
As an added idea, if two players have equally valued items that they wish to SWAP, then a process could be made available within the game mechanics to allow those two players to swap items of equal value between themselves, without any Tradecoins or Gemstones being required to complete the transaction.
At the end of the day, if such a Trading System was set up for these currently unsellable items, I have no doubt players would jump on such a concept and enjoy the benefits of being able to buy, swap and sell these items within their inventories, creating a whole new market of possibilities and a better flow of items, that players can directly benefit from and use for their cities.
