How do I enable clicking on the boat to move from ME continent map to PME continent map?

I have scouted and conquered the last province in ME (Toimuro) and the boat has shown up but I can not click on it. It does not highlight when I hover over it like other planes/ships that go between Era maps have done. I've clicked and clicked and get nothing. Am I missing something else that I need to do before I can access it? I had one more province to scout (Hiromaguchi) on the map which was part of a story quest. So I scouted it and finished that quest but still can not click on the boat. Do I have to conquer that province or completely finish the story questline for ME? I've never had to do that before... Or is this a bug? Thanks for any help.

I figured it out, thanks to using the mobile app. On the app the boat was not there, so I finished up the last province (Hiromaguchi) and voila clickable boat!
