Guild Expedition Encounter Rank

Incorrect,

The targets & payouts for guild power, and the points per battle are fixed values for each era.. I'm in a guild on one world with an EMA player who does 48 or 64 encounters every week but sits at, or close to the bottom of the contribution table every week while a higher era doing just 4 encounters scores far more points and is several places above them.

Given that their figures are 64/48 and 4/48 who is making the real contribution? Which player is pushing the percentage of completed encounters up? The answer of course is the EMA player but that isn't easy to spot or reflected in the results table in the current format.

No, given both the EMA player and the future Era player are doing the same amount of fights. The guild expedition points earned by the Future Era player are much more and so are the power points.

The number of fights only counts for the position in the guild tournament (and yes for that, the more fights the better, era has no effect at all).

But that is only a position. The number of power points you get more because you are on place 1 is more for more guild expedition points, because you get a percentage of them on top.

So again, higher era, more guild expedition points, more power points, better for the guild.

(of course which player is considered all more beneficial for the guild apart from the guild expedtion depends on many more factors, but this thread is about guild expedition)

I had worked out the thread was about Guild Expedition,

So again, higher era, more guild expedition points, more power points, better for the guild.

They may score more per battle but they increase the guild expedition points needed. They have to be active and completing encounters otherwise the lower era can't make up the shortfall. Regardless of how many points they may add the OP asked for the ranking table to reflect activity and not points as currently displayed.

I had exactly the same idea, so came to suggest it, only to find (via the search bar) that someone had already raised it.
Every little bit of encouragement the game can give to newer players is a bit more of an incentive to stay longer, play more, and join in more.

Also: GBG tables are era-agnostic, that is they list simply how many encounters have been done by each player, without reference to what age/era the player is in. This encourages players to participate, and to contribute to their guilds. Sure, the players who've been in the game longer will be more likely to be able to fight on for longer in GBG, but it's good that those players in the earlier eras are encouraged.

This idea allows them to see their progress through GE in similar era-agnostic fashion if they wish.

+1
