Dear Kings and Queens,
As you may already be aware, the Forge of Empires forum will be changing to a new version. This is a process that will take place in several steps:
- You may notice some movement in the "Ideas" section on the 8th and 9th of December. There will be some new sections added and threads moved within them so that the only threads left in the general area are those with a 'new idea' prefix.
- On Thursday December 10th, the forum will be closed down for up to several hours. This is required for the migration and set up of the new version.
- The day after, on December 11th, most of the 'new' subforums under Ideas will be removed and the threads will be moved back in the general Ideas section. However, it will be possible to visit and use the forum.
- On December 12th the "Player Journals" and "Guild Journals" sections will be merged together, and a prefix will be added to differentiate between the two type of threads. Additionally, adjustments to section titles and descriptions may take place as well - these would only be minor modifications and in no way disruptive of the forum's functionality.
If you need any help during the downtime, please contact us through the Support System. We apologize for any inconvenience which may be caused by the temporary shutdown of the forum.
