Expansion Square's

DeletedUser

When looking as some other people's world's I can see that they have a lot more area (Expansion Squares) to build on than I do; bearing in mind I've only just reached the Early Middle Ages.

Is it that when you progress through the era's the you get more Expansion Squares?

I am playing three different 'Worlds' and even I notice that in one Iron Age World I have a few less Expansion Square's than another world, also Iron Age?

I'm confused......

You get expansions from:
  • Research tree normally has a couple per era (restricted to the era you're in)
  • Continent map normally has some per era (you can go ahead as far as you're able to on the map)
  • Medal expansions (you can get them all in any era if you get enough medals)
  • Diamond expansions (a couple per era)
So you can get quite a decent sized city even in Iron Age / EMA etc, but eventually you will run out of them, and to really size up, you need to age up.
