Not a Bug: duplicated resources

Unfortunately its not a bug, each time your conquer a goods province its completely random what you get(it should exclude goods you have already but sadly it doesn't)

Having multiple resource mines is not a bad thing. This allows you to specialize and trade.

Checkered Jester, with all respect, I think all the players who have commented on similar problems before disagree. Given the poor markets, it just doesn't work that way - especially if the doubled resource is a common one anyway, that no-one really wants because they already have it. It doesn't make you more able to trade, it makes you less able, because you have less of a variety of goods to trade and thus are less likely to be able to fulfill the needs of the players whose goods you need.

As for the 'randomness' of resources: I say cods-wallop! I have EXACTLY the same resources as engt240 in exactly the same provinces.

Not only that, I've found that most folks on my continent have one of a few permutations of resources, leading me to believe that you can get a 'random' permutation only.

Not a bug - just a bad design feature :mad:

Unfortunately nowadays you can't trade with anyone, so having multiple resources is just a waste of time.
