Why is it that you can set your asking price at any value for all goods when trading within the same Era or trading up, but when you trade down an Era you can only do a 1:2 trade and you can not set your own asking price?

up, down or within an era the maximum parameter is 1:2 and 2:1.. you can set it higher or lower but when you try to create the offer it won't let you :)
