Not a Bug: Didnt get medals from pvp tournament

I won a battle in PvP tournament and i didnt get 10 medals or what ever they are call, and it says reward 10 medals, and i attacked that dude, and beat him, and when i went do expansion to expand my teritorry it says that i dont have any medals, wtf ? is this some bug or what, help me pls !!!

medals are awarded at the end of the tournament depending on where you finish. from the tower ranking screen you can see up the top left when exactly the tournament will finish. so for you to get the 10 medals you need to be ranked first next Sunday when the tournament ends. as your here id recommend the search function (top right) as this would have netted you your answer a lot quicker, and also give a look around the guide section of the forums as you may learn things you didn't already know

It doesn't work like that. For EACH battle you win you get points, you need to have OVERALL most points out of all people at the tower every week until Sunday around 2 O'clock CET time to win the tournament and get medals.

You don't win medals by winning once and the guy had 10 medals next to his name, because he was ranked 1st based on OVERALL points.
