That's cause they don't go to your inventory. They show up in the Event.

i have similar problem .i have no blue shields accumulating in event totals

The event totals only show what the bags require to buy the bag.
If you don't have anything requiring blue, then blue will still accumulate it just won't show until you get a new bag that does require it
