City Defence

Scenario:- My city is attacked by 2 hover tanks and 6 rogues, I am defending with 8 plasma artillery

The AI immediately hits all the rogues one after the other and I can't win. The logical thing to do is initially ignore the rogues and go for the tanks in which case I win easily.

Why does the AI make attacking rogues a priority when it is not a logical thing to do?

And here's me thinking that the purpose of the AI is to mirror at least what an average player would do instead of indulging in kamikaze self-destruction.

Defending the city is difficult enough as it is.

Rogues are often the most deadly units ... but they also have an " Achilles heel ".
Striking at them first will often neutralize the threat ... and in this case, it clearly does work.
