A NEW IDEA : Building space

If you see the background of your city you will see many islands near it.

Some cities in the real world have buildings on islands(Venice for example). Here's my idea - the possibility to unlock expansions on the islands. The buildings will be conected to the town hall with roads, going on bridges , which will conect the land and the island. The bridges will be placed automaticly or for money when you unlock the expansion on the island and they will look different in the different ages. The look of the bridge(s) will be changed after reaching every new age. This will make the game more interesting for players who like the architecture in FOE such as me. I have never seen that idea before and I hope you wil like it.
