Lieutenant Colonel
The following two videos demonstrate how to achieve battle "perfect wins" (meaning "without a scratch" for your own units)
Our units have about 400% attacking bonus and about 200% defending bonus. The GbG attrition is about 30 at the moment and therefore the enemy units have about 200% attacking & defending bonuses. We are using special/advanced military units one(1) age ahead of our own combined with rogues. The special units were obtained from the continent map / story quest.
Yes, with that disparity of attacking and defending bonuses we can win the battle with all types of units and using all types of tactics or no tactic at all; but we are talking about perfect wins here.
Utilizing the Rocket Artillery's longer range advantage we are able to win battle "perfectly" -- meaning without a scratch. However, such wins are often achieved "by chance". To plan ahead of the battle and "ensure" such a perfect win, is more difficult. As a result, this video includes 2 tries. In the first try, although we were winning the battle, we'd be losing a rogue. Therefore, we retreated. In the second try, we demonstrated a perfect win successfully.
Continuing from the previous video, this one demonstrates an even more frequently used and more efficient army formation to achieve perfect wins.
The previous video shows the use of "Artillery + 7 Rogues" while this one shows "MG Team + 7 Rogues". This formation is powerful because the MG Team has the "Contact! -- Always Retaliate" ability, so that the Rogues not only can take a hit without hurt as they normally can, but they also retaliate immediately upon transformation if the enemy is within range. It'll be like you are starting the battle with 8+7 = 15 full health units instead of the normally 8 units!
This army formation is always preferred unless when the enemy army has multiple Artillery units, in which case we should switch to the previous configuration -- the "Rocket Artillery + 7 Rogues".
