Are donations to previous neighbours GB's lost when neighbourhood changes?

Complete novice, only been playing 3 weeks. Neighbourhood change today caught me on the hop, but having researched I now understand this occurs every 2 weeks. Must have occured already once before, but I was still getting to grips with things so never noticed. Lol!
My question is, what happens to forge point donations I made to neighbours GBs in my previous neighbourhood?
Are they lost? Or can they still bring rewards even though I can no longer see those neighbours?

You can still donate to those GB's, as long as you have fp's in them. Once the GB levels and the person is not in your Guild, friendlist or hood, you no longer can.

Thanks for rapid reply. Next question was going to be, how do I still donate? But have just found the 'Current Contributions to GBs' list. If any other newbie is wondering, playing browser version on a PC, it's on the News tab of the Town Hall screen. Every day is a school day at present. ::)
