Analysing the value of the (Easter event) Wishing Well

And that brings us to another point where the value of the wishing well is questionable. People who opened cities on all 8 worlds (or some amount of them) only to do the easter quests and get wishing wells. How many neighborhoods now have cities occupying a spot that are not progressing but have 4 wishing wells while the owner mines for diamonds that he will use on his main? How is that helping the game?

I open my accounts every seasonal quest since it's easier rewards with a chance of diamonds. (I have also decided to track the rewards of my WW about three days ago on 6 worlds)

I'd appreciate it if you can provide some statistics. I think I've seen diamonds once out of my 4 Wells on 3 worlds.
Personally, I don't have time to try keep up with the demands of those worlds, never mind open accounts on several more just to get more Wells....

Update: I have seen diamonds a few more times since August. It probably helps that I collected a few more Wells in the Summer Casino, but I do feel that my stats are catching up towards the 1% collection rate

I got 2 or 3 players in my hood who have quit playing their towns, but play on other worlds. Having razed all their buildings except wishing well(s) they do not dissapear from the hood bar as they obv log the world only hoping to hit diamonds. They should srsly remove that 1% or whatever diamond chance for good, it is no good to keep this hope alive.

Yep from obversation and trying to remember my collections I think I have the same patterns as you, sort of. At first I found I got a lot of goods but then it evolved and looks like your stats really.

Nice stats byeordie. Out of curiousity I just looked out my post made few days after the easter quest started just to see how off I was.

My random estimate on odds is about 33 coins 33 sups 23 goods 5 fps 5 medals 1 diamonds...

Not too bad

Based on your stats, the somewhat rational rounding for numbers to make sense would assume 25 coins 25 sups 33 goods 8 fps 8 medals 1 diamonds or maybe 25/25/35/7/7/1.

Well you seem to be lucky Byoerdie, 11 wells across 9 worlds, you must be playing on the beta server as well, I have 3 wells 2 on Fel and 1 on Dinegu and so far I have only had diamonds from the well on Dinegu and I have had 1 of the well on Fel since about the second week of the Easter quest, the other two well I got in the summer quest

He plays on US too, so I'm guessing his wishing wells are spread around the servers, not necessarily all here. Though, his statistics would still be valid. I could give you the number of how many times I've gotten diamonds from my own at other language versions of the game but sadly it won't help with comparing it to the number of times I've gotten the other rewards, I haven't kept any logs of those.

Actually, I "play" on all worlds on this server, plus two other servers that I can't mention. All but World F and Z are useless accounts (can't confirm 12/14 of my recordings without a constant coin/supply/goods/medals). I only started to record the other ones (C,F, and Z) more recently because I finally got everything I wanted into Excel, so I just copy and paste now (the basic one).

top player in my guild has 8 wishing wells and I have 4 (including the one won yesterday), so it is possible to amass a lot of them and I suspect his 8 mainly came from the easter egg hunt where I think you could exchange eggs for them. I got about 40-50 watch towers he got the wells. I wish I had gone for the wells!

the wells have been a good thing for me i have 4 of them and dont think i will ever get rid of them as the produce goods from the age your in which is really more important than the diamonds they give me if the wells didnt produce diamonds at all they would still be a good purchase the fact that diamonds do come out in the end is a bonus

Yep, the goods from one's current age are the main way the wells earn their keep in my view too.
