although i have been debating with alwinal in the last few posts on this thread (as you will have read) i must stick up for him / her as i really can't see what your post is referring to, i don't understand why you would 'feel sorry' for alwinal unless you are being sarcastic and if so then whats the reference to a child all about.?
chill out man. no need to stick up for anybody. i was not sarcastic. i meant what i meant. how you understand it it's up to you. this remark was not addressed to you anyway. if you look for something nasty in people's posts you should take a breather and look again.

DeletedUser914

I really feel sorry for you mate. especially if you are a child.

These kind of remarks don't belong in a discussion forum. You can always say "sorry for you mate" whatever the argument and topic may be, it is unfounded and played on the person.

DeletedUser99445

Not defending anyone but there are worse remarks that get banded around here. I have received many and made many and I am not alone.
a little sympathy expressed is nice really LOL and poor else is feeling emotions of sympathy for another human being in FOE and that is something we should condone. I just hope else is feel-ing better now.

Is it confirmed that there are only 2 unique buildings for this event?
1. Gingerbread House (gambling) 2. Huge Confectionery (end of quest)

No other unique decorations or buildings?

DeletedUser2989

we've got two new winter buildings to collect throughout December and into early January: Gingerbread House and, as you could have expected, an improved Confectionery. If you already have a Confectionery, you will be able to get its larger version, and if this one is also in your city, you will have a chance to obtain a brand new Huge Confectionery towards the end of the event!

According to the announcement that is it. I think that due to there being so many ones from past winter events available they didn't want to add to many more.

I'm a bit confused, been trying to do this quest for a few days now, where I'm supposed to finish 22 productions in production buildings.. I've been doing lots and lots of productions but the counter won't move past 12! anyone else with this problem or am I doing something wrong??

Merry christmas!

DeletedUser15432

Welcome to the forum Falugirl

Productions means supplies Falugirl, if the counter is stuck on 12, left click on the game screen and this will take you to support or alternatively, contact support using the support button at the top of the forum page

Oh, now I feel stupid... :P

Thanks for your help!!!

no need to feel stupid, sometimes quests can complete for some players and not for others, or they can be easily misread so you're quite right to post any queries you may have. Hope the replies, have helped and have a lovely christmas :)

I don't think you are in a position to say what belongs and what doesn't on the forum. It's a freedom of speech isn't it? and thank you Gate for your support. I was going to explain what I meant, but not now though. a lot of people are using their strange imagination to see evil where it doesn't exist.

Just my 2 cent about the featured prize of the day. We've already had a chance to win the Winter Gate. Why couldn't you have offered something different that we haven't had a chance for yet, like say The Queen (you offered the King) or The Victory Tower?

DeletedUser96901

they (Queen & Victory Tower) will come later ;)
because there are still a few days left

and later is better:
you have more time to collect stars to get them ;)

DeletedUser99588

I think the developers have spaced out the good prizes quite well. To many at once and you wouldn't have enough stars to have a chance of winning them. Although it is down to personal preference what is considered a good prize. I for one would not want a king or queen and not overly fussed about victory towers.

I think the Christmas quests have been good and haven't caused problems to complete. Not in any of my cities anyway. It is nice to have an event which is fairly relaxed (unlike easter) offering special and premium buildings.

agree with you here, perhaps rogue hideout could have been further apart from Champions retreat allowing those who used all their stars for CR to save more for the RH but apart from that its been very good :)

DeletedUser99445

I would agree that spacing out the better prizes is the decent thing to do.
They could have put the really desirable prizes at the start and made more players spend more money to get stars rather than saving them up each day.
Enjoyed this quest, relaxed and very rewarding with something decent for just about every type of player.

well, in fact they did it, I remember the diamonds prize in the very first days

Anyway, as you said, it has been (its being) a good event as a whole.
I've managed to get the last 50,000 medal victory expansion on all my worlds ;)

Does Easter not celebrate the crucifixion / subsequent arising of Jesus 3 days later.?

the traditional rolling of eggs was to symbolise the rolling away of the stone that covered the tomb where Jesus lay. Easter eggs are simply commercialism cashing in on a tradition (much like Christmas presents to represent the gifts from the three wise men). My point in this is that Easter is in fact a religious festival.

I'm sure Christianity celebrates Easter as much as Christmas so surely you will miss part of that event also. In fact the Easter Event rewards activity (the egg counter is only 6) more than any other event so really with your post above you are totally contradicting yourself

Easter was the festival to celebrate the coming spring way before Christianity even existed, Christmas is to celebrate the winter solstice. Many religions have festivals to celebrate such things, going back to a time when religion existed in all communities just as a part of life.

I'm not religious, but I don't have a problem with people celebrating things.
