What are your thoughts on adding poll in idea threads? We'd love to hear your feedback.
Don't think anyone would care about your -1 if there was 99 +1s in fairness.so remember me when an idea has 99 times a +1 and one -1
Surely if someone had such a valid and important point to add, they'd comment and not just cast a vote. That'd be the fault of the voter, not the system, imo. The same person could just post "-1" and not add any further info in the current system.Voted -1, because a poll by itself give the author and later readers no idea about WHY people voted as they did. They may have a valid point that should be considered.
We are supposed to read the idea?I voted +1 to this idea
...but there is a huge drawback : Experiences tell that users, given an easy vote option, will vote upon the idea-title and not read the idea-post.
(Not all of course, but many will)

Oh, it seems an error occured! Fixed thank you!One thing...I just had a post deleted because all I said was -1. I was told to use the poll. The poll had been locked and no one could vote anymore. Either the polls have to remain open for the entire life of the thread or allow -1 or +1 comments after the poll has closed.
I would assume they would operate as this one does... poll at the top, comments below if need be. That's how all the idea threads with polls added have functioned so far.Villow is right but if comment can be added it can be ok.

Particularly since the poll appears above the idea and any comments - it would be better really if it appeared at the bottom after you had read the thread! (As it is, you have to scroll up again to vote.)users, given an easy vote option, will vote upon the idea-title and not read the idea-post.
