To be fair, Yggdrasill lvl 9 is awesome. Currently it's got the highest fp:footprint ratio in the game (excl. GBs, of course), and it gives goods and a very decent attack boost.
The issue is whether the process of getting it is worth the effort or not. But the building itself is very good.

Yggdrasil is more than worth it if you bring more than just fps into the equation. Brad refuses to do this, he's sort of like a flat earther in his stubbornness.

depends on time it takes , you can be sure i won't get it to lvl 9 takes to much time so for me not worth my time

What to do with diamonds?
Well, you could always use them to complete settlements in record times and get your level 9 Yggdrasil

Also greater runestones are good and you can have many of them, they equal 2 SoK's so you could free up space in your city by deleting 2 sok's for 1 rune
