No! I think the whole event without diamonds and stuff gives you 1 full ship, if you’re lucky. 50 from forum will get you full ship for sure

If 50 gets you the ship for sure, then a bit more than double of this (110 without diamonds) has to give you two for sure, not just one and even that only if you're lucky. ??? (Sorry, it's too late for me to do any calculations... :D)

I heard the event doesn’t give you a full ship for sure. But those extra 50 will.

Not if you are lucky. With whole questline finished and with max 80 Doubloons out of 105 from questline spent, you have guaranteed one lvl 7 Ship.

Questline gives you three. The rest... needs to come from the grand prizes. Are there that many grand prizes? That's the main question. But given that you can buy these D... things, I would assume that there has to be.
