I may be naive, but I'm currently thinking that I will also be able to trade my tons of current era goods to higher era goods.
One or two eras above - doable, anything higher and you look at several trades at 0.5 rate, turning 16 say granite into a single say rubber. To get a single good of say CE trading up from EMA would require 256 goods, and 8 upward trades. Way better would be getting a single OF/AF good and trading down. However, supporting market with trading up from current age would benefit more than just you.

Looking at the amount of goods I made in just 2 days, I don't think that this will be a problem--if there is a market that buys it up. And I'm only just getting started, when I reach my level goal with CF, one quest will give me four times as many goods as it does now.

Whether it will all work out the way I imagined it--I'll have to see... If there is no market to support it, then it all goes down the drain... :D I'll be camping here with a billion iron age goods. :D :D :D

Yep, if there is a market. I think though that there IS a market, given how many people trade down even in EMA and Iron. Maybe you consider camping in TF? Arcs will always be in demand.

No if you plunder!
This takes time to hunt, resources to generate soldiers (I still spend more than I want if I plunder) and time to actually loot something useful. Rarely a person lets me plunder a goods producing building for enough goods - sometimes I even get 1, and sometimes 6... what do they think?! Trading equal is more reliable, trading down with surplus is even better, because you get what you need faster, even if paying more.

This is the best place to camp for me until I get CF up to a high level. (Lowest cost, highest yielding quests.) Then I'll see where to next, but that's still far-far away. :)

Hungary. I haven't been too creative with my name, so that pretty much gives it away. :D
