Here's another idea for a new competition: include the randomly chosen word in a meaningful post. Easy to choose the winner (do a simple search in the thread), and keeps the spammers out, too. Win-win.

Would have to be fairly common every day words otherwise no one will ever win

I'm sure there's a list a 1000 or 3000 most common words. Someone could then post all of those (which would be fun if the "meaningful post" is a requirement), so make it more interesting, two additional words would be chosen that would negate the win. :D If you post those, you don't win. :D

Okay, I'm making it a bit complicated. :D:D:D

Or we could turn it into a friends-lotto. :D Post as before, randomly chosen post number at the end, and everyone who participates gives 10 FPs to that person. If a non-participant was chosen, we choose another random number. The drawback of that is that it excludes people who are not in the same worlds as we are.
