Victory Expansions Max ?

Hi, Can it be that I reached maximum Victory expansions – After the last expansion at 570K (or 580k) no more exapnsions are showing – only the Diamond Expansion option (since the expansion I have gathered around +60K medals). I recall that once this number had to reach a certain number before the Vicotry Expanion showed again. I checked the official Wiki and that seams like its about the 570K. Just want to doublecheck.

If it is in fact so, then I have no need for e.g Victory Towers anymore right?
– In fact there is no use for medals at all except perhaps if they influnece ranking which I can not remember if they do ?.
...and secondary if a new Era above OF includes expansions.

The for now part is important. With new eras, Inno always adds new victory expansions. Also, medals can be useful for GE4 if you negotiate, or to buy more attempts at GE, and for the All Eras GvG.
