Various Improvements

After watching my town, and keeping in my mind all ideas that failed to unpopular / not suggest, I've decided to pass 3 ideas for your consideration.
All 3 are strictly connected... but don't treat them seriously ;)

1) Visual Polivating: I see islands on my right & left side of the town. Let devs make there a portals to the next neighbour, and the unemployed mini-citizens walking on the streets of our towns will go for visit to respectively right or left hoodie. You can see an animation of them walking back carrying the big bag full of 20coins gained by pol/mot.

Same while you're in your town you can see the folks coming to your town, and hanging the star up above the building.

2) Go Fishing: Yes, we all see all these fishing pools, so I suggest our mini-citizens just go and try to catch some fish... with a small chance to fish the whale and extract Whale Oil good. (However its difficult to imagine a small guy with wooden fishing rod taking out such a big fish)

3) New GBs: A stone age GBs

a) Shamans cave
- Active bonus: A chance to fish special reward, like coins, supplies or Empty Wine Bottle that you can send as a gift to your friend/guildie... and on the bottle you can read "We had good party here, sorry I forgotten to invite you"
- Passive bonus: Your citizens fish more with each level

THE REQUIREMENT to build this GB is to have 'A Swamp GB'

b) A Swamp
- Passive bonus: Your citizens sent to visit your hood, will move slower but bring bigger bag of coins (still holding only 20 coins)... before you say it's useless, let me ask: Santa is coming to your house with big bag and that makes you more happy than if he comes with small carrier bag; but still that bag holds only 1 gift for you... so don't complain just collect it

Before you comment on this idea:
1) No, it was not serious :)
2) Yes, I'd love to see more humour in this game

I am open for any suggestions to improve this ideas. Any counterarguments will meet daily plunder.

Please put idea into the format so it is easy to understand..

There are actual ideas for stone age gbs if you want to check them out

1) is actually a decent idea. I suggest you put that into the format
It will most likely not happen thought because all the graphics team wants to give us is animated birds...

2), while the fishing pools as a simple animation sound nice, there is no way that a BA player should get Whale Oil, similarly, a CE player would have no use for that. -1

If you want to joke around, please use the Discussion or Soap Box sections of the forums..

but they are needed to build a stone age GB

You have made 1 assumption here: that people want a longer stone age..
yes lets make the stone age like all other ages:
5 military buildings, 5 goods
more houses, supply buildings

and the complete research should at least need 720 FP
that would be a month where players can enjoy that age

and it is enough time to search stone age BP and get the GB before you leave that age
wouldn't it a dilemma if the stone age GB would be the only GB that no player from that age has

A very definate -1 for this idea, some of it has been suggested before and other parts are either just window dressing or covered by other features of the game such as the Treasure Hunt

Nah, just been re-thinking the idea :)

As there are no Stone Age goods, and almost no one want stay in that age, it is better to allow a 'reverse' research tree starting with Discovery of Archeology at Colonial Age.

So you go back to the stone age, and on one of the islands uncover the Swamp GB - yes you dig it out instead of building! And both GBs will be on research tree instead of inventory. When you discover this first GB, you're able to discover the second one 'Shamans Cave' somewhere in surrounding mountains.

And trough all the ages back from CA, you'll discover new things:

LMA - Statue of The Great Fisherman, that increases happiness of your fishing folks... in return they're fishing more enthusiastically. Just that, no increase in amount of fished things, to keep the game balanced ;)

EMA - Mieszko's Lance that has very important use: your citizens walking for a visit to your hood will carry a big lance. If your hoodie has plundered you, they will use the lance to kill a rabbit near visited town as a show of your strength!

IA - Iron Age Racing Chariot (source http://www.independent.co.uk/news/s...tors-loved-a-sunday-drive-or-two-9794436.html). That will increase walking speed of your citizens visiting hood, and while they visit another city they also gives +10 Happiness.

BA - Prehistoric Boat ... of course you need the boat if you want GB on an Isle and that's also a proof that our ancestors been fishing here even before Graphics Designers implemented all that fish in background.
