Update to 1.32

Hello Kings and Queens,


The update to 1.32 will take place on Wed 6th August. We continue improving the quality of the game, therefore we implemented a couple of nice "ease-of-use" changes. Plus some bugfixing and polishing.
As always, there will be a short period of downtime during the update, we apologize for this little inconvenience.



Improvements

Various changes
  • Ranking of Great Buildings is now visible also when the Great Building is disconnected.
  • Ignore and unignore options have been added to the context menu, e.g. in the player ranking.
  • Subject of a message can be set when sending new message, it's shown in the header when reading a message.
  • Building sounds are now played when polishing a building in neighboring cities.
  • Players' own cultural buildings now play their sound when clicking on them.

Balancing changes
  • Early sector armies and negotiation costs reduced.
  • Early research costs reduced.
  • PME infiltration costs were changed.
  • Stats of various buildings changed.

    Construction time
    Construction time was slightly increased in the following buildings:
    Rubber Plant, Coke Oven, Textile Mill, Whaling Station, Fertilizer Plant, Concrete Plant, Packaging Factory, Flavor Laboratory, Construction Warehouse, Food Processing Plant, Tree Nursery, Steel Plant, Semiconductors Factory, Industrial Filter Factory, Genetics Research Lab, Asbestos Factory, Oil Refinery, Machine Workshop, Tinning Plant, Explosives Factory, Aircraft Factory, Hatter, Appliances Factory, Zoo, Golf Course, Public Pool.

Bugfixes

UI bugfixes
  • Close button in blueprint found window was missing for more than two blueprints.
  • The autocollect mode did not always stop when releasing the mouse.
  • Great Building coins and supplies blimps were affected by population mood and boosts.
  • Polishing countdown on buildings didn't show seconds below one minute.
  • In Safari it was not possible to use the mouse wheel to zoom in the city.
  • Guild name edit icon was offset from the text field.
  • Selling a building confirmation had some overlapping texts in some cases.

Other bugfixes
  • Guild profile: Mouse wheel moves entire text area instead of scrolling text.
  • Visiting a disconnected Great Building via the event history was crashing the game.
  • Trying to accept a not possible trade lead to an internal error message.
  • In rare cases the wrong contribution list for Great Buildings was shown resulting in contributing to a different Great Building.
  • It was not possible to upgrade ME roads to PME roads due to same costs. Costs were adjusted, so the problem is now gone.
