Update to 1.28

Hello Kings and Queens,

The update to 1.28 will take place on Wednesday, June 11th. After the big 1.27 update, this time we focused on bugfixes, polishing and a lot of background work that is not directly visible, in order to improve overall quality of the game. There will be a short period of downtime during the update, we apologize for this little inconvenience.



UI Bugfixes
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to click images in the background with hardware acceleration enabled.
  • Hardware Acceleration has been optimized to disable animations for low end machines.
  • Fixed an issue where Great Building contributions were impossible.
  • Tutorial breaks when clicking back to city quickly after researching the first technology this has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue where some of the buildings which provide a defensive buff did not show the buff correctly in defending army.
  • Fixed a quest issue where Pay supplies/coins quest condition triggered by unlocking unit slots.
  • Fixed an issue with the tutorial where Scouting the first province before the quest Scout and Conquer causes the campaign map to become unresponsive.
  • The Game crashes after reviewing battles in GvG, this has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue where the user is able to bypass the Tutorial restrictions by closing the Building Menu.
  • Fixed a Sound Flash error after battle ended.
  • The shrine of knowledge was not giving forge point when population is unhappy, this has been fixed.

Other bugfixes
  • Fixed an issue where GvG could not be loaded with less than 128 MB of video ram available with Hardware Acceleration active.
  • Animations do not stop when cancelling a production with HA active. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue where Motivated buildings show wrong or no icon.
  • The game will now play sounds only when graphics are loaded.
  • Fixed an issue in Army Management - Scroll bar always resets after selecting a unit.
  • Fixed an issue where the Population blimps and info on building/selling residential buildings did not show correctly.
  • Too many trees were removed with the new city expansion.
  • Fixed an issue where No grid was shown when placing/moving buildings after leaving game open for some time.
  • Fixed an issue where Dragging Campaign map or Research tree will drag the city background also.
  • Some texts have been improved and are now more consistent.
